Global Handwashing Day

Global Handwashing Day is “a global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.” (www.globalhandwashing.org/global-handwashing-day)
It was celebrated on October 13th at Ban Sikeud Primary School with many official visitors, since Ban Sikeud Primary School was the first school in Laos which included hand washing and tooth brushing into the pupils’ daily routine.
